They also noted that their 150+ school clients are weighted towards the higher performing schools, and as such benchmarks would be higher than the average for all schools. In speaking to MMG, the company that conducted our survey, they noted that we had a high level of support and engagement from our parent body indeed they commented on the extremely high percentage of our parents who completed the survey. The College will be spreading the message via a number of means and encourages CHAC families to share this information with potential recipients. The scholarship is designed to cover the three years of senior studies (Years 10 – 12) and incorporates fees, uniforms, and an incidentals allowance. I encourage parents and students to review the information and submit an application by the closing date, which is this Friday (12 August).įollowing a connection made by the CHAC Foundation, the College has been working with the Kela Foundation over the past six months to develop a scholarship to support a student who could not otherwise afford a CHAC education. Students from Years 7-11 are encouraged to explore these opportunities and apply for the bursary that best fits their needs. Our PSA and P&F offer bursaries to support students’ educational journeys and aspirations. It is a month that focuses our thoughts and efforts on recognising and celebrating difference and raising funds to support those less well off than we are. Ariane Wallast Groenewoud, Zoe Billings, Samuel Paech and Ben Masjnak were excited to accept the challenge and responsibility of leading the CHAC student body in 2023. While all members of our senior cohort are endowed with leadership responsibilities, the four members of our College Captaincy team were presented to the College. The past week has seen the announcement of the badged leadership positions for 2023.
